Jolyn Arisman
Master Trainer
Jolyn joined forces with B.FIT in 2001. Due to her inimitable approach to fitness and movement she quickly became the company's most sought-after trainer. In 2005 Jolyn was promoted to Director of Personal Training and is responsible for overseeing the entire New York City team of fitness professionals.

Jolyn is a trained dancer and athlete with 25 years of movement training experience. She is also a gifted diagnostician and motivator.
Her knowledge of the body, and her application of this knowledge have often been applied to and successful with people who could not see improvements with physical therapy and surgery.

Jolyn studied yoga around the world since 1993 and has taught for HBO, the American College Dance Festivals, and Dohpin Gyms. Certified by NASM, she has a refined understanding of neuromuscular and cardio training.

She trained in Pilates Mat at the Kane School of Core Integration and with Karen Carlson. Always interested in improving her skills as a trainer, she has also studied Body-Mind Centering, Alexander Technique, and Myofacial Release.

In 2001, Jolyn traveled to Thailand to study Thai massage at the renowned Institute of Thai Massage. This healing method is a distinctive mixture of pressure point work and assisted yoga. She also earned a certificate in Foot reflexology.

Jolyn earned her MFA at Smith College where she was a teaching fellow. While there she studied kinesiology, injury prevention and anatomy.
